VELVET WHIP

First impression. Introversion. Look at the ground, look at your instrument, play hard, no pose. Acknowledging the crowd only welcomes unwanted visitors. Remember their previous incarnation Hamhock being slower/more plodding, this has speed though. Glimpses of the savages of decades past who played so fast they almost hit an embrionic stage of metal; Die Kruezen/Void/United Mutation. Throw in Dry Rot for a modern reference point. It ain't that simple though. Johnny's looping phaser pedal adds another dimension. Hypnotic and nauseating, a stylistic nod to Hawkwind perhaps, as their name also suggests. Space Punk is alive and real, another one to notch up. Come join us.
