A new feature of the blog to put forth old recordings from Australian bands that we feel were on the right waves. Pathetic Human left behind a handful of savagely interesting recordings to little fan-fare. Playing live, you didn't know what band was gonna turn up; sometimes an underpracticed trainwreck, other times a unit that could hit that level of transcendence of a band truly in the zone that shoots adrenaline right through your limbs and made you feel you were witnessing something truly special. The two tracks here are their contribution to a split cassette with Collapsed Toilet Vietnam. The first gives the best indication of what Pathetic Human were about, the second gives an insight into what I can imagine their practices would have degenerated into after innumerable hits from the beug.
